It is stated on the Mississippi River, 5 miles downstream from Saint Paul. The total area of the city is 3.58 square miles of which 0.59 square miles is water and 2.99 square miles is land. US Route 10 and US Route 61 which are parallel through the town served as the main routes in the community.
St. Paul Park was founded in 1887 on the banks of Mississippi and was incorporated in 1909. It became a city in 1974 by state statue. Today, the city is a friendly community of welcoming residents. It is rich in parks and considers its heritage as its pride. The city annually commemorates its great heritage with a celebration in the month of August, bringing in more than ten thousand visitors to share its pride.
