The city is served by the Woodland Elementary School, a pre-K-6 school serving more than a thousand students.
Other points of interest in Woodland include the Wayzata bait and Tackle which was first set up in 1973. It is considered as the foremost store when it comes to baits all throughout the western suburbs. The store is strategically located minutes away from Lake Minnetonka, Lake Independence, and Medicine Lake. The Minnetonka Center for the Arts offers summer arts camps and spring classes for both children and adults. For lovers of the sport golf, you can either go to the Spring Hill Golf Club or the Orono Public Golf Course.
Your family would surely enjoy going to the Hinckley Fire Museum, the GTI Movie Theater, and the Wild Mountain water Park. Do not forget to visit the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, the Pinehaven Farms, and the St. Croix Festival Theater all of which will bring fun and laughter for the entire family.
